Maria De La Luz Marquez

María DeLa Luz Márquez died on April 15, 2025, in Berwyn, Illinois. Born on May 17, 1952, in Mexico. Maria's life was rooted in deep family bonds and enduring love.

Maria now joins he beloved son Efrain Marquez, her parents Jesus and Estefana Viacobo, and her brothers Carlos and Jos Luis Viacobo. Their memories remain cherished by those who knew them.

She leaves behind her devoted husband Gonzalo Marquez; sons Gonzalo Marquez Jr. and Johnny Marquez; and grandchildren Haley Grace and Aiden Xander Marquez. Sisters; Maria De Jesus Gomez, Dolores Rocha, and her brother Juan Viacobo. Her legacy also lives on through many nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews who will remember her with affection.

 A visitation for Maria will be on Friday, April 25th, 2025. from 3 to 8 p.m. at The Sourek Manor Funeral Home, 5645 W. 35th St, Cicero. On Saturday, April 26th,2025 Funeral mass at 9:00 a.m. Our Lady, The Mystical Rose Parish - MQH. Private Interment.
